Handing over the bike The hirer receives the bike in a perfect technical, safe and clean condition.
The hirer checks this condition immediately and confirms the perfect condition with his signature on the rental contract.
Payment
The full rental amount has to be paid in cash (Euro) at the moment of handing over the bicycle. We do not accept credit cards.
Repair of damages during the rental period – “Bike Repair Found” Many people always asked us if we offer any kind of insurance in case of a bike gets damaged or stolen. Until today there is no company which takes this risk
and offer an insurance. I got the idea, that the big “Velo Sport Team Rental Family” can insure cases of bike damages by itself. So, from now on 2 € of every bike rental goes to the “Bike Repair Found”. If
you rent bikes of the categorys A, B, C, E, T and F nearly all kind of damages are coverd by this found. Damages in High End Bikes category D are only coverd up to € 450.
The found do not cover: All kind of tire problems, lost bike parts or stolen bikes. For these things the you are still responsible by yourself.
If a mecanic has to come to repair a bike which got damaged through your blame, we charge the amount of the delievery zone you are staying.
Liability in case accident: The hirer should have coverage
through his own accident and liability insurance. The renting company is not responsible under any circumstances for accidents which the hirer causes to third people or cases of liability.
