All rental bike customers of Velo Sport Team and also every wheel interested roadbiker who will be at Mallorca island between 01st of Feburary and 31st of May 2012 is offered a cool test ride on Lightweight full carbon fiber wheels. Partner for that exclusive Lightweight test center program is Velo Sport Team Mallorca, one of the biggest rental bike stations and Lightweight distributor for the Baleares territory.

SET 1
Lightweight Standard – THE Lightweight wheel when it comes to tubular tires
Since Jan Ullrich won Tour de France on one of the first sets of Lightweight wheels this kind of wheels made their way to the top pro circuit. “When it comes to parameters like stiffness, aerodynamics and weight this set of Lightweight wheels is the perfect one for fast and long races with lots of accelerations, especially at low profile courses,” Hannes claims.

SET 2
Lightweight Standard C – the new generation for clincher tires
“This new Lightweight Clincher wheels offer nearly the same superb performance as a tubular set of Standards,” Hannes explains about this set of wheels. The major advantage for all weekend warriors and selfmade mechanic amateur racers is for sure the easiness to fix a flat because they can stick to what they have learned already: pull of the tire, change the tube, remove the tire to the rim, ad air – and off for another lap! This new generation of Clinchers allows tire widths of up to 25mm! What means a feelable increase of comfort, puncture resistance and rolling performance.

Standard rear wheel / Ventoux front – for all pro riders that want the max on tubulars
“Who ever want´s to be prepared for winning – pro or amateur – has to go for a mix o a Ventoux front wheel and a Standard in the rear. This combination lowers weight even more for extensive uphill climbs and minimises cross wind vulnerability at speed rolling roads because of the lower rim profile of the front wheel. There might be a minimal lack of aerodynamics in this set – but we are really searching for the one who can definitely feel this – and we ad a little bit mor comfort to the system because of a better lateral shock absorbtion of the Ventoux.

Rental costs:
€ 15 per day of rental for customers with Velo Sport Team rental bike
€ 20 pro day of rental for all other customers
€ 10 extra fee if taking the wheels not in Felanitx
You must drop your passport / ID-Card for the whole rental period.

We also offer a good stock of Lightweight carbon fiber wheels at Mallorca to buy. By purchasing a set of Lightweight wheels all rental costs will be credited to set prices.

All test wheels are fully under warranty of Carbon Sports in any cases of damage. The renter would be only in charge in cases of wheel loss for instance by theft or in cases of detected wilful damage.

Every renter gets a short but detailed instruction about the product and its use. Lightweight wheels are handcrafted in a 20 hour production process and need some specific treatment to give you full performance and ad all the extra driving pleasure of this super fast wheels.
